Everything is Happening for You : A Little About my Faith Journey

Hey y'all!  Today, I want to share a message of hope, trust, and the incredible journey we all find ourselves on. Life can throw some serious challenges our way, and it’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of questions: “Why is this happening to me?” or “How am I going to get through this?” But what if I told you that everything you're facing is actually happening for you, not to you?

When I reflect on my own life, especially the past three years, I can’t help but see the rollercoaster of experiences that have shaped me. From health struggles to near-death experiences during my pregnancies, every challenge has been a stepping stone, leading me to where I am today. You see, I was once in a place of despair, feeling overwhelmed and questioning everything. But through it all, I learned to trust in a higher power.

The Power of Faith

Faith is our spiritual currency. It’s what keeps us grounded when the storms of life rage around us. Just like I had to learn, sometimes we have to step back and let go. Letting go of the need to control every outcome and trusting that God has a plan for us can be a game changer. It’s not about ignoring our struggles but embracing them as part of our growth.

For me, facing health issues, including a Lupus diagnosis earlier this year, forced me to reevaluate my life. I realized I didn’t have to be a prisoner to my circumstances. Instead, I chose to pray, trust, and take a step back from the chaos. I learned that while it’s important to seek medical help, it’s equally important to nurture your spirit and mental health. Sometimes, we need to pause and reflect on what we truly want for our lives.

Finding Strength in Vulnerability

During my toughest moments, I found strength in vulnerability. I remember crying out to God, feeling lost and scared. But looking back, I can now see that those experiences were necessary for my growth. They taught me resilience and the importance of gratitude. If I hadn’t faced those trials, I wouldn’t be the confident, joyful person I am today.

Trusting God doesn’t mean everything will be easy; it means we trust that everything we go through builds our faith and prepares us for what’s next. Just like a seed needs to be buried in the dark soil to grow, we too must sometimes endure hardships to bloom into our fullest selves. Remember, faith the size of a mustard seed can move mountains. And I know my faith is bigger than that! Ok! If I can do it, so can you!

Embrace the Journey

As you navigate your own journey, I encourage you to embrace every twist and turn. Instead of asking “Why is this happening to me?” try asking “What is this teaching me?” Every challenge is an opportunity for growth, and every setback is a setup for a comeback. Trust that God is moving things out of the way to make room for what you truly deserve.

So, let’s get our faith up and receive all the blessings that are coming our way! It’s time to step out on faith, trust the process, and know that it’s all happening for you, not to you. You’ve got this, and I believe in you!
