5 Years of Exx Extended

5 years ago today, I released Exx Extended. At the time, I felt I had something to prove… that I wasn’t just a sweet, innocent girl. I wanted to show that I was a full artist, a songwriter, singer & a woman unafraid to be sensual, bold, and honest.
The lyrics were raw. The vibe was sexy. It was a side of me many people didn’t expect and probably won’t get to see again. And while I thought I was proving something to the world, what I really did was prove something to myself…that I am allowed to be soft and strong, innocent and expressive, sweet and sensual. I don’t have to fit into one version of who people think I am. I also know that I don’t care what anyone thinks now. I only want to please God and be happy with myself.
That project taught me the power of self-expression and The Frequency is Love, my upcoming album, is the next chapter of that journey. This time, I’m not creating from a place of proving anything. I’m creating because I love this. Because music is how I stay connected to myself. Because this is who I am. All sides. All frequencies.
So here’s to 5 years of Exx… and to everyone still streaming it, THANK YOU! Your support means everything. I’m still here. Still evolving. Still making music from the heart 💜
